Merry Christmas!!

We have had such a wonderfully blessed Christmas this year. Ava and Mia were so excited to celebrate Jesus' birthday and for Santa to visit this year. Elijah was just happy in general even despite his nasty cold. Here are some of our favorite photos. Enjoy!

Teeth

Mister Elijah cut his first tooth on December 1st at 5 months and 1 day old! Then seven days later he cut his second tooth! Such a fussy few weeks for my sweet little man, but his new teeth are just precious. I was finally able to get a picture of them, but you have to look very closely ;)

Neighborhood Christmas Parade

Every year our neighborhood has a Christmas Parade. Santa rides in on his sleigh (a trailer behind a truck) with Christmas music playing, then the kids may sit with Santa and parade around the neighborhood on his sleigh spreading Christmas cheer.  Elijah sat in Santa's lap, but the girls still refused to do so. Christmas classics...

This year we recorded some of the "classic" animated Christmas movies to watch with the girls. Watching these movies brings back so many childhood memories. It is nice to know that we are creating new memories for the kids! Here are a couple of photos of the girls during a family night watching Frosty & Frosty Returns.

Peter, Elijah & I had the pleasure of watching the OLF Kindergarten & Pre-School Christmas program on Friday. All of the children did such a wonderful job! Ava was a "singer" and Mia was an "angel". Here are a few photos. Enjoy!

December is here...

We are gearing up for a very busy December...school plays, Christmas Parties, Christmas Break, my birthday (Lauren) and most importantly Christmas, Jesus' birthday.
Here a couple of photos of Elijah from a "photo shoot" and one of Peter and the kids. It makes me smile to see our family complete :)

Thanksgiving

We hosted Thanksgiving Dinner at our house this year. Peter's parents drove down and we had all of our military friends over who were still in town. We had 13 children and 10 adults. It was wonderful! Unfortunately, I was a bit tied up in the kitchen and didn't get very many good photos, but here they are any way!

Some Firsts....

Both Mia & Elijah have a some "firsts" lately.  Mia got her first hair cut on November 13th.  Elijah went for his 4 month check-up  on the 15th and got the go ahead for solids. So, Elijah had his first solids on November 16th and he loved them! Here are our photos.

Vetrans Day

Today we went to the Veterans Day Parade with our friends.  The weather was beautiful and we had a great time. Here are our pictures. Enjoy!
